Marsha Holmes

Marsha Holmes was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, educated at the University of N.C. in Greensboro, majoring in fine arts and specializing in painting and printmaking. She continued her education at East Carolina and at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Pennsylvania. She has taught art as a volunteer at the pre-school art program at Mabel Elementary and currently teaches art classes through Continuing Education in Caldwell County and art classes for senior citizens at the Project on Aging at both The L.E. Harrill Center and The Western Watauga Community Center in Cove Creek. Marsha's primary focus in her personal art includes drawing and painting in both watercolor and oils. Her subjects include the people, animals, objects and sights she sees everyday in the High Country and scenes that express country lifestyle.
